Happy Birthday MOM!!!

Hello,

Today was my mom's birthday.. I decided last week sometime that I wanted to cook dinner instead of going out...it just seemed more personal or special..idk. So, I was watching Food Network and Ina Garten was cooking risotto and thought "OMG, this is totally mom! I should cook this for her..lol". I woke up early( Early for me :) ) and started to clean the house. I got ready and then ran errands. I went to Trader Joe's, for sunflowers, and then Target for her Danielle Steel book. I got everything done and was home just in time to beat my mom home and get ready to cook. I can admit that I was a little nervous to make risotto but I was willing to give it a shot. I cooked and this is what the menu consisted of:

-----Saffron, Asparagus, Pancetta Risotto

-----Caprese Salad

-----Sweet Baguette with butter

-----Iced tea

-----Pasta Prego Flour-less Chocolate Cake (With Raspberry sauce)

It all came out surprisingly well and she was extremely proud. I am so lucky to have a wonderful mom and decided that I must start thinking ahead for next year....something that will out-do my dinner this year..She said that "It's going to be so hard to improve/ top this..." I don't know, but I'm sure I'll think of something. ;)

Taylor Swift Concert September 3rd, 2011

Hello loves....It's been waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy tooooo long...sorry I blame school and my laziness.. So, school is going ok. I just want to be done already. I get out May 26th. The weather has been super nice here and trying to work on homework is extremely difficult. I also wanted to tell everyone that I am SUPER EXCITED about seeing Ms. Taylor Swift at Arco Arena in September. I wanted to thank Aunt Mary for getting me my ticket (I REALLY APPRECIATE IT), I will be going with a work friend and another friend from school. I am thinking about possible shirt and signage ideas for the concert(let me know if you have any ideas). I cannot wait!!! Only about 122 days left!!

Hey everyone!!! It's been a long time. School and work have been going well and I had some time to write a short blog here... I bought Taylor Swift's new cd( of course I had to buy the Target deluxe edition) and love it!! The songs are really good and I noticed that some have a rock- vibe to them. I really want to see her in concert now..lol I would DIE if I could meet her too. I don't know when she is going to tour.. probably not for awhile:( I am worried because the Fearless concert literally sold out in like 10 mins...cross your fingers maybe i'll get a chance to go see her

Hello everyone!!! Happy Thursday!

I just wanted to tell everyone that I have a new goal for this year...it is to save up for a $700 purse!!LOL Yeah, I love my purses! Anyways, the title says it all, I will be saving change, checks, etc for a Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM... I have been wanting to get another purse from the designer and have figured that I cannot wait any longer. I must start saving little by little and then my "NEW" baby Louis will be on her way...LOL I can't wait to have it...well that is all lovies for now....................

Hello everyone!!!

I forgot to mention in the last blog that I got these amazing black patent Steve Madden pumps from my Aunt Mary..I love them and have been dying for the chance to wear them with the perfect outfit..I have been wearing them around the house getting used to them. I would like to thank my Aunt Mary for them...I love you sooooo much and can't wait to see you this month!!!Thank you so much again and I am truly blessed to have you in my life.

School is Out for the Summer...

Hello everyone!!!Long time no talk. So I have been busy working at Coach and finishing up my first year as a college student. Everything went well, it was just a big stress ball at the end. I had to do a major paper, a children's book to write, on top of the finals..AUUGHHH!!The grades are still not all posted but I do know that I got an A in Child Family Studies.....cross your fingers and I will keep you posted.... School is out for now so now I can really enjoy some quality friend and family time..

As for work, I worked Memorial weekend and it was very busy. I went out with some of my co-workers on Sunday to Red Hen after work for some grub and drinks.

Well I know that was a short update..kinda tired:( sorry. We will talk later

New Room

Hello everyone!!!!!

Here's a sneak peak of my bedding.....

I've missed you..Sorry I have been so busy with work, school, and room decorating. So I painted my room with delicate yellow, got a new bed(thanks Mom ad Dad), and purchased new bedding for my bed. I went with a Martha Stewart bedding and added a very nice memory foam topper to my mattress. I am sleeping really well every night.

Also, I am a new member of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society at NVC and went to my first meeting today. I am hoping to participate in the Phi Theta Kappa's Relay For Life team in July and other events. I have been doing well in my classes and keeping busy...

Possible Room Re-Decorating???

Hello Everyone!!! Today is a beautiful day in the valley. Well anyways... I have been thinking about possibly re-decorating my room for so long..I was thinking of going with a Parisian theme. I would love to have the fleur de lis, Effiel Tower, Toile bedding,etc.

I don't know when I will get around to completing this little project but I am definitely excited at

the possibility of it!!!(Kinda dorky I know).LOL Let me know what you think about this little

Hello out there...long time no blogging..LOL. Sorry I haven't been blogging.

~ Christmas break is almost over for me. I start school next Wednesday. I have some mixed feelings about starting again but I will try to enjoy it(because I only have 2 more years left here). I will be taking these classes next semester: English, Walking For Fitness, Art History(Ren. to Modern), History( Women in 20th century America), and Child/Family Studies(Children's Literacy Class). So definitely a full load but I'm ready:)

~In other news....I will definitely be working at Coach!! Very exciting!!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a great start to 2010. Hopefully, 2010 will be much better than 2009. Best wishes,

Hello out there! I have been busy...sorry no blogs!!LOL so I went to the mall today with my mom and I got my make-up done!!! and the pictures are the outcome. Hello out there!!!!

Sorry that I haven't blogged in awhile. I have been busy as USUAL!!!! So Jessica is coming up today for dinner....I have tons of homework and cleaning to do. My life is so busy all the time. I wish sometimes that it could slow down a little so that I can catch up...I want you all to know what happened last week:

Monday- I had Speech and English. Nothing too exciting to report..the same old, same old.. off from work

Tuesday- I skipped swim class, and went to counseling and stats. I worked at Spinelle and came home. My brother was in town to do some training and of course we fought...it's what we do..don't ask why...I don't even know why.

Wednesday-I went to Speech and English. Off of work for that day and we went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my dad's birthday.(It's really on Friday)

Thursday- I went to school and watched Angelo.

Friday- I went to English. I went home, grabbed a bite to eat, and went to work. At work we had a rep in to talk to us....Not the best day at work but ok....Long story regarding usps. I also ripped off a hang-nail and it ripped off some of my quick too..IT HURTS!!!

Then today....chores and homework are on the schedule...

5AM Flat Tire!!!!

Hey guys really quick.....I just wanted to let you know that I experienced my first flat tire today at 5AM going to swim class out at the college. I didn't realize that it was flat...I was driving and heard some noises but thought that it was just my bag rolling around.....then I smelled burning rubber, and I knew that it had to be the tire...RIGHT? So stupid me, I was worried about getting to class so i continued to drive to the college.....I

was close at that point. I got in the parking lot and looked at my tires and sure enough my right rear tire was flat:( I went down to the pool, called my mom, told my coach, and then called AAA. They came out like 30 minutes later and put the spare on.....I then went to my classes, drove home, then went to a local tire shop to get it fixed..

well busy day...huh?

I have to go and work on my homework before I babysit Angelo......

Heart attack bars and procrastination

HEy Y'ALLLLLLLL!!!!!

Wooo hooooo It's Sunday!!!!!! Sorry super excited...Idk why...LOL so anyways I am getting ready to have a presentation this week for speech....FUN....NOT. My presentation in counseling went ok..my partner's poster blew mine out of the water..not cool:( but anyways.I turned in an essay last week and also a math exam and lab. I hate Stats, like seriously..HATE IT!

Today my mom and I went to get a meatball sub to split and a couple of cups of soup...it was great! I then went to Target then to Raleys. My mom made Heart Attack Bars....WOWSA!!!! Super tasty......I realized that I want to be the fatter version of Rachel Zoe for Halloween...lol I die. Bananas!!!!lol LOve her....

I watch little man this week for sure....and work Friday and Tuesday....My aunt and uncle are coming from Idaho on Friday to see us and then Jessica Rosemary is coming on Sunday....YAY!!! Can't wait to see you alll...love ya.

College and Work

Hey Guys sorry I haven't updated my blog in awhile...I have been super busy/stressed out to the max with college due dates, tests, and quizzes....So to fill you in I got an A on my last take-home math quiz, a D(ewwww) on my last math test. I have two speeches coming up. One is for Counseling/College Success class next Tuesday about what students should do when their instructor doesn't teach with their preferred learning style(Kinesthetic, Auditory, Visual, Feeling,etc)....and my other presentation is in Speech and it's a group project. We are talking about restaurants. I have a new Speech teacher, Tia Madison. She just got back from maternity leave. She is a good teacher. English is going well, and I have an essay due on Monday.(Exemplification) FUN!!!!!Not. :) I hate getting up at 5:15 Am for Tuesday/Thursday swim class......

I have been working for Spinelle and Kimi. It is going well so far. I love to be back with the jewels and I absolutely LOVE little man, Kimi, and Aaron. It is so much fun to work for them and get to spend some time with them.... this week I didn't babysit because Kimi is getting ready for a trip to North Carolina and wanted to spend time with Ang.

Finally, today I got my nails done and am so excited to see another episode of Vampire Diaries... YAH!!!! Love it!!! We(my mom and I) have been watching Rachel Zoe. We completely love her show and sense of fashion..... We are going to go antiquing to search for vintage jewelry pieces.... (like cocktail rings and such)

This weekend!!!

So this weekend has gone by so fast...I can't believe that it's Saturday evening already:( My weekend so far went like this:

Friday-school, work, then home

and Saturday- I cleaned the house(almost all of it), went to lunch, shopped a little(in downtown Napa,I didn't get anything:( ) and saw a movie with Jessica. I had fun. We ate at Villa Corona and saw the movie Love Happens. It was a great movie, kinda sad but super cute!!! After that we went to my house and then she left. I got some more cleaning stuff done but have run out of gas. I will probably take a little longer break and then go back to school and cleaning work.:( No fun!!!

Stats Exam

Today I had a Stats Exam and it was so hard....no joke...I even studied!!!I don't get to know the results of the test until next week...I don't know. But it really ruined the rest of my day:( I Hate math !!!

Also, I got my speech exam back yesterday and I got a B so that's not bad...RIGHT?

Tuesday I watched Angelo a.k.a "Little Man". We played games and watch Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. He loved the movie:) Good choice on mypart...LOL Yesterday, I worked at Spinelle and will be working there again on Friday for a couple of hours...that's a great feeling. Working=fun:)

One college exam down,one to go and target info

I had my first college exam today for my Speech class. It was relatively easy and I think that I did well on it.......The exam was mostly multiple choice and true and false. I took my time finishing the test and left. My speech teacher, Tia Madison, has been on maturnity leave and will be returning to NVC next week.

Also, today I had a quiz in English about subjects and verbs. Again, I feel pretty well about it. I turned in my final draft of an essay. Yah!!!!I'm so happy to be finally done with it but will have another essay assigned on Wednesday. :(

One more exam this week. I have my first Stats exam on Thursday. Please pray for me. I am so nervous about it. I will continue to study and hope for the best.

Lastly, Target info. I went after school to Target in South Market place and applied for a job. I am optimistic.....Cross your fingers. I will hopefully hear from them soon.

San Jose Adventure

So today we got back from San Jose. My dad had so much fun on his ride along with Brad and has been talking about it ever since....LOL. I stayed behind to work on homework(which I complete all of:)) and listened on the radio for Bradley. It was fun hanging out with Jess and meeting some of Brad's co-workers. I finally drove down there(San Jose) and had relatively no problems. But the whole way I was gripping onto the steering wheel for dear life!!!!LOL I saw Sam-bo and Chexie and played laser-pointer with them.....it's so funny to watch them chase the laser around the apartment.

Well, long story short, I had the best time in San Jose. I don't miss the traffic, rude drivers, and red light runners but I will miss Brad, Jess, and the children(Sam and Miss Sassy). I can't wait to see them all again sooon:)

Vampire Diaries and The Fray

Hey guys!!!!

So college is going well...I am doing pretty well so far...knock on wood and I'm liking it more.(minus the quizzes etc) but overall okay so far.

So anyone that truly knows me....I LOVE VAMPIRE STORIES!!! and the CW has a new show called Vampire Diaries and I watched it tonight and absolutely loved it!!The acting and story is WAAAAAAYYYYY BETTER than Twilight....BY FAR. Plus the leading male actor, Paul Wesley, is super steamy!!!!!

Another thing is I am totally obsessed over is the song "Never Say Never" by The Fray. I think that I want The Fray CD for either my birthday or Christmas. I don't know.

New Hair and Babysitting

I got a babysitting job from Kimi and I will be watching her son sometimes. Also, I got m hair dyed back to my natural color...well it's kind of dark now but it will lighten up soon.....well that's all I have to get back to writing my lame essay for English....EWWWWW

I got 10 out of 10 on my English quiz, on my first speech I recieved 49 out of 50 points:( (I wanted a 50!), College Success Class I got a 95% on the quiz, and a 14 out of 20:( on my math quiz. ewwww a week full of tests how fun!!! well I did the best I could and am so glad that I made it through these mini challenges still standing.:)

So the next thing on the agenda to talk about is my alarm clock. Here's some backround first. My mom had bought me an alarm clock years ago and last christmas had asked for a new one. She bought me a very nice alarm clock where I can charge and play my Ipod. Well I finally disconnected my old alarm clock on Sunday evening and set up the new one. I was up all night finishing math homework and College Success work(I had piles of homework last night), I set the alarm and called it a night.

Today early I was woken up by my mom. She said "Lauren isn't it time to go to swim?" and I jumped out of bed and threw on my suit. LONG STORY SHORT MY ALARM CLOCK DIDN'T GO OFF AND I DON'T KNOW WHY IT DIDN'T. I got to the college a little after 6.

So I am off to rest a little.

The Past Week

Hello readers,

Sorry that I don't update my blog everyday....busy college student here. Anyways, this past week was another packed week for me. I had my first college quizzes, a speech, had lunch with my dad one day, and continued to fight for parking.

I had my introduction or "Bag It Speech" where we had to choose a bag and three things that best represents myself. I of course chose my swim bag, a teddy bear in a Japanese Kimono, Vogue magazine, and a tote bag that the second graders gave me last year. It went well and I think that I didn't go over the two minutes required.

Yesterday evening, my parents, Jess and Brad went to an Italian restaurant on Santana Row!!!!!I love that place. It is defiantly my cup of tea.....LOL so crowded though :( The apartments above Santana Row go for $8,000 a month....Yikes! I still want to see one though. We ate a lot. Blah.I was even praying at the table for God to forgive me of my Gluttony that evening...LOL it really wasn't too bad, but it says something when we are all pretty much done by the appetizer.....haha

*Note to self..... Don't eat all day. Fast until dinner...NO JOKE!

Anyways, the rest of the weekend is up in the air.....I have tons of homework to do...esp. Math :( and have to do some laundry and maybe wash my car when it gets cooler.

Tomorrow will mark day five of college for me and it has been stressful. Early mornings on Tuesday and Thursday plus the Mon,Wed,Fri classes...I'm so tired:( My teachers all seem willing to help me out during office hours...so that's good. I have had small homework assignments and am not looking forward to the tougher assignments...LOL. I am really enjoying my swim class. It is a major stress reliever. PARKING IS INSANE!!!!Mondays, Wednesdays I have to park out in the toooliessssss!!!NO JOKE!!!! I have found that college is kind of lonely. I mean lonely because my friends and I all have classes at different times and we don't get to hang out as much as we used to.I see how people grow as an individual.

A couple of days ago, Aisha and I went to Synergy....(the gym she goes to) and we had a wonderful workout. I was impressed by the up-to-date equipment they had and the classes offered....Yoga, Spin, etc. As the week comes to an end, I am so thankful for the weekend you have no idea...LOL Time to catch up on some sleep

Back to school tomorrow....where did summer go?

Summer is drawing to a close and school is starting tomorrow:( The good news is that it is the start of something new but that's what makes me nervous..... anyways tomorrow I have these classes:
at 11 I have English and after that I have Speech(that should be fun......stage fright! Those classes are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (except Speech is Mon and Wed)
On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have : Swim(bright and early), Math (stats), and Counseling 100. Another plus is that I get out early everyday. This is definitely a adventure and I hope that I can do this. Well I have to get ready and pick out my first day outfit.

This week has definitely flown by so fast. Today I woke up and played my new Wii with Brad and Jess. We got the game system at Costco the other day and have been enjoying it ever since. I have been playing the Wii sports game that came with the system and we just got the new Wii Resort too. It is fun and competitive between the family members(Bradley!) HAHA and it makes you really sore. Brad and Jess treated us to lunch at El Mariachi. We came home and they packed up their things. After they left, it was really depressing. I was so sad that they had to leave and to be honest I really didn't want them to leave. So as the week draws to a close, I begin to reflect on the week's activities and I realize how blessed I really am. I have a wonderful family and a bright future ahead of me. Thanks for reading:)

The Medford Trip!

We went to Medford,OR today to do some back-to-school shopping for myself after going to the driving range. We all had Barnes and Noble gift cards to use so we went there first, found books, and bought a Starbucks. mmmmm! After that we headed to the mall and my mom and I bought some really cute things there. PLUS...my mom found the Julia Child cookbook that she has been wanting and it's been sold out everywhere we go. We went to dinner at Red Lobster....(the waiter was a horrible) and went to Costco. Brad, Jess, myself ,Mom, and Dad all are exhausted after the long day and being awoken at like 5:40 ish to our smoke detectors.:(

Oh Pills went to the vet because he hurt himself and the vet said that he is too spoiled and he is mostly playing us with the severity of his injuries.I don't know what to do with that dog :(

LOUIS ARRIVED!!!!

There was a surprise doorbell ring this morning at 10:30ish and it was a FedEx man at the door holding a big box. I signed for it and took it over to the coffee table for unwrapping. I opened the box, took out the millions of FILLAIR stuff and found the box. After checking out the small LOUIS VUITTON envelope I opened the box. I opened the tissue, opened the cloth cover bag and found it!!!!LOUIS!!! It looks so cute I love it!!!!:) And I definitely need to buy a shaper for it though..... It was love at first sight:)

Brad and Jessica are coming to Oregon to spend some time with us....yah I'm so excited!!! They should be coming up today and should arrive in the late evening...That's the only plus coming out of today....I really want my Louis though:(

Yesterday my mom ordered my bag and they never sent my tracking number for it.....so my mom called today to check its status and they(LOUIS)couldn't re email the tracking number because the stupid guy entered the wrong email address when he sent it. Plus, the guy sent it standard priority which means that the bag won't be here in the morning like promised .....more like late afternoon. We are extremely mad! We complained and my mom will send a letter to the San Francisco office. So, long story short, no tracking number, no bag yet, and upset parents....not good:(

Should I get a shaper for my new bag?

I was online researching my new bag....I'm so excited about it!!! and I was trying to figure out whether I should get a shaper or not. The shaper goes at the bottom of the bag and is sold for $15 on eBay.....so should I get it or not? Let me know!!

Louis Vuitton Bag!

So today my mom ordered my very first Louis Vuitton purse!!!I'm so excited! I decided to get the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in the Damier Ebony style.We shipped it to Klamath so I should have the bag Wednesday morning. I can't wait to finally have it and I will blog about when I get it and I will try to take some pictures for you to see it.

P.S. The picture on the left is the Speedy 25 but it will look similar but a little bigger!
